| News Title: | Deep South Classic Design Contest Winners Announced |
The winners of the 2006 Design Contest for the Official Tournament T-shirt and the Tournament Program Cover were announced today. The winning entry for the T-shirt was the creation of Anna Gouge from Brookwood High School. Anna’s design was used for the Official 2006 Deep South Classic T-shirts which were provided to each player and coach participating in the 2006 Deep South Classic. Anna will be honored at the awards presentation on December 30 during halftime of the boys’ championship game.
The winner of the design for the 2006 Deep South Classic program cover was Morgan Wiggins, also from Brookwood High School. Morgan’s design was also used on the 16th Annual 2006 Deep South Classic Commemorative Mini-basketball presented to each team and sold during the tournament. Morgan will also be recognized at the awards presentation during halftime of the boys’ championship game. The Art Department of Brookwood High School also received a gift from the Deep South Classic for their winning entries. Congratulations to both Anna and Morgan!
